Michelle Obama's Jimmy Choo Garden Boots

The Victory Garden is under way at The White House and this is a project that I am very excited about...not only because I love to garden, but just look at First Lady Michelle Obama's Jimmy Choo Biker leather flat gardening boots:

Are they too cute or what?

Now, I'm all for dressing down and dirty when I garden, but I might have to rethink my grungy look after seeing these motorcycle boots in the mud on the White House lawn!!! It's so unexpected and hip, I love it!

In fact, I loved the whole look she had for gardening day:

I have a feeling garden chic is going to take on a whole new look, thanks to our first lady and I, for one, am right on board with that. Who says gardening can't be glamorous?

How to Contact First Lady Michelle Obama

First Lady Michelle Obama is one of our youngest First Ladies to ever grace the White House. She is such an inspiration to all young girls in our country and quite frankly, she is an inspiration to us all.

Aside from her great sense of style (at sensible prices!), it is going to be fascinating to watch what causes that she will take on as First Lady. She is definitely interested in helping working mothers find more balance in their lives, so I know many will be watching what she does in that area. It also seems that she and her husband, President Barack Obama will also be taking on initiatives to improve our public schools and public education. It will really be exciting to see the changes that will be taking place in the next years in the Obama administration.

If you would like to contact First Lady Michelle Obama with any questions or concerns that you have, there are several options:
You can contact First Lady Michelle Obama via an online Contact Form at:

Or you can write a letter to the First Lady at:

The White House

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW

Washington, DC 20500

Also please note these tips when mailing anything to The White House, from The White House website:

"Items sent to the White House are often significantly delayed and can be
irreparably harmed during the security screening process. Therefore,
please do not send items of personal importance, such as family photographs, because items may not be returned. For security reasons, please do not send consumable gifts -- such as food, flowers, and other perishable items -- to the White House. While President Obama, the First Lady, Vice President Biden, and Dr. Biden appreciate your thoughtfulness, they request that instead you look to your local community for opportunities to assist your neighbors in need."

You can opt to call and leave a message for the First Lady at: (202)456.1111

Or finally, you can fax First Lady Michelle Obama at: (202)456-2461

Michelle Obama Visits a Soup Kitchen

Today, First Lady, Michelle Obama visited Miriam's Soup Kitchen in Washington, D.C. She encourages everyone to donate food or a hand, if they can.

I saw the footage of her on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams, and she was just glowing...proving that you don't have to have on a designer gown to look beautiful.

Thank you, First Lady, Michelle Obama!

How to Buy Jason Wu Designs

Designer Jason Wu designed First Lady Michelle Obama's beautiful Inauguration Ball dress.

As well as her fun yet sophisticated dress that she wore on the cover of Vogue Magazine:

As you can imagine, many women are wondering where they can purchase Jason Wu designs for themselves. Here are a couple of places that I found:

Jason Wu at Ultimo.com Free Shipping Coupon Code: VIP09

Jason Wu on ebay.com

My favorite is this Jason Wu Tulle Overlay Evening Dress, at ebay:

That is really all that I could find, I bet as soon as the world found out that he designed the First Lady's Inaugural Ball dress, that everything designed by him went flying off of the dress racks! I can see why, his designs are classic, yet sexy and sassy, too. I can't wait to see what Jason Wu designs next!

Michelle Obama's Arms

First Lady Michelle Obama's arms sure are a hot topic lately and I can see why. Her arms are so tone and she looks great in sleeveless dresses!

Classic Sleeveless Blue Dress, with brooches.

What a gorgeous smile! And gorgeous jewelry, too!

I just love this picture of the First Lady dancing with President Barack Obama at one of the Inaugural balls.

Here is the picture that is stirring up all of the controversy, why, I have no idea! She looks great!

If you want tone arms like our First Lady's, CNN has some tips for you at "How to get Michelle Obama's Toned Arms."

If you've got it, flaunt it! I, for one, am looking forward to more sleeveless fashions from our First Lady, Michelle Obama.

Michelle Obama's J Crew Gloves

Our First Lady, Michelle Obama...

The First Lady, Michelle Obama was so beautiful and classic on Inauguration Day. The moss green gloves from J. Crew were perfect for a brisk January day in Washington D.C.
She is clutching a red box which held President Abraham Lincoln's bible. President Barack Obama was sworn into office on that bible by Chief Justice John Roberts.
What an historical moment in our nation's history and our First Lady is not only beautiful and fashion savvy, but she is a first class act, an inspiration to all...and I want those gloves! ;)
Unfortunately, they are no longer available on the J. Crew site. If they are smart, they will order more in an call them, "The First Lady Gloves."
